Shah Abbasi Cream Blue

SHAH ABBASI Shah Abbasi is one of the main flowers in Iranian traditional design. The peculiar shape for designing this motif is khetai strings. The great shah Abbas was one of the emperors and kings of the safavid era know for traditional Iranian design and carpet weaving. The khetai flowre is attributed to him. The origin of the plant motif is derived from the pomegranate flower. It is a sacred flower which reets date back to millenniums before Iranian history.
